  10.     A VGA color system and a MicroSoft (tm) compatible mouse is required
  11.     to operate this application.
  12.     -----------------------------------------------------------------------

  14.     Design SHELL is a complete and very user friendly Graphics User
  15.     Interface (GUI) or Menuing system.  It provides the user with
  16.     colorful picture icons for selecting sub menus or executing
  17.     applications or DOS commands.  Allows creating up to 30 menus
  18.     or applications on the opening page. Sub menus may be nested
  19.     three levels deep.  With this configuration, you could access
  20.     up to 27,000 menu selections.
  21.  
  22.     Design SHELL provides the user with up to eight different screen
  23.     background color combinations, up to six different font types
  24.     with a 3D effect or flat faced, and includes a full featured Icon
  25.     editor for creating sixteen color picture icons.
  26.  
  27.     All options can be fully password protected against entry.
  28.  
  29.     A library of 16 color icons (over 350) is available for downloading
  30.     on most BBS's in a file named: DS_ICONS.ZIP
  31.  
  32.     Registered users receive an Icon library with over 500 Icons
  33.     upon registering.

  36.     To run Design SHELL: Copy all files to a directory on your hard drive,
  37.                          move to that drive and directory and type: DESIGN
  38.  
  39.                          Design SHELL will operate from a floppy drive
  40.                          with no problems except reading and writing
  41.                          to icon files would be very slow.
  42.  
  43.                          For smoother operation, you may also include this
  44.                          drive and directory in your AUTOEXEC.BAT files
  45.                          PATH statement.  If you do this, you can start
  46.                          Design SHELL from any drive or directory on your
  47.                          system just by typing: DESIGN
